Parent Involvement Day / NAAPID Day
Kaiser welcomed all parents to visit our school on February 14, 2011 for Parent Involvement Day.
Our guest speaker, Mr. Douglas Lewis, presented Black Cowboy and Buffalo Solider to the upper elementary students and parents in the media center.
Parents who attended NAAPID were able to take home a framed picture with their child.

Parent Resource Room
Kaiser families are invited to visit the Parent Resource Room and discover all the helpful tools that are available to them. For access hours, please call Kaiser School at 734.481.8284.

Parents will have access to many helpful tools including:

- Information on parenting topics like homework help, a child’s self-esteem, divorce and the family, potty training & more
- Parenting books and magazines
- Access to health insurance information and healthcare resources in the county
- Preschool and child care information from the “Child Care Network”
- Connections to other community resources.

At Kaiser Elementary, our students say, “We love to have YOU involved in our school.”

This sentence alone is a powerful incentative for moms and dads to sign up for Family Involvement Opportunities.

At the beginning of each school year, parents/guardians are urged to sign up for at least one or more events to assist our students, their child(ren), in pursing their education. Some of the activities we need parents/guardians to participate in are fundraiser activities, Media Center Book Fair, Make-It, Take-It night and many, many more.

If you would like, we would love to invite you to also share in either a daily, weekly, or monthly visit to your child(s) classroom. You can even participate with us during lunchtime (11:30-12:00 or 12:00-12:30) for a brisk walk on the “Willow Walker” track for one of the most delightful experiences of your life. All that we ask is that you first stop by the main office to let us know you are here and most importanty to enjoy your visit!

Kaiser is “Parent/Guardian” user-friendly and we NEED YOU AT ALL TIMES.
