Willow Run High School offers many exciting class opportunities for students. During the 2010-2011 school year, students have the opportunity to participate in the following course selections:

Art and Art Club
On Friday February 4th, 2011, some Art Club and Art Class students visited the Art Department at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
They went to see the “More than Skin Deep: Portraits as Socio-Cultural-Political Commentary” exhibit, as well as to visit the art classes and buildings.
It was a very educational experience for all.

JROTC Presents Lithograph to Tuskegee Airman National Museum
On February 15, 2011, Mr. Brian Smith, with the Tuskegee Airman National Museum, visited Willow Run High School to educate the JROTC classes as well as the Social Study classes the story of the Tuskegee Airman.
Mr. Smith told of the hardships the Airman faced while having the chance to serve their country during World War II. Following the presentation, Ms. Laura M. Lisiscki, Acting Superintendent for Willow Run Community Schools, Cadet Major Anneatra McWilliams, and MSgt Eddy presented a lithograph that was signed by a number of the Tuskegee Airman.
The lithograph will be displayed in the Tuskegee Airman National Museum located in Detroit from the Willow Run Community Schools.

Willow Run High School Provides RCTC Classes To Students
RCTC students took first place in the Skills USA Construction Competition
Students enrolled in Willow Run High School are offered the opportunity to enroll in the Regional Careeer Technical Center (RCTC) and gain valuable skills to enter the job force in a specific trade occupation.

RCTC offers instruction in:
• Auto Mechanics
• Child Care
• Collision Repair
• Computer Systems Tech
• Construction Tech
• Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management
• Graphics Arts
• Health Occupations
